Harness the power of the ten rings to unleash brutal attacks on your foes with this unique mod.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings hit theaters earlier this month and so far audiences and critics are absolutely loving Marvel’s latest addition to its ever-growing cinematic universe.
The film follows the titular Shang-Chi, a master of unarmed combat who is forced to confront his complicated past after being dragged reluctantly into his father’s shadowy organization, referred to as the Ten Rings. Over the course of his adventure, Shang-Chi comes in the contact with the Ten Rings, a set of mysterious bracelets that grant its wielder control of various elemental forces.
Of all the weapons and abilities featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Ten Rings are without doubt one of the most powerful and mysterious introduced thus far. And now you too can experience what it’s like to wield this ancient weapon thanks to a new mod for the VR fantasy sandbox game Blade and Sorcery.
Available now on SteamVR headsets, Lyneca’s “Ten Rings” mod allows you to wield the Ten Rings of the Mandarin and unleash devastating attacks on any NPC unfortunate enough to cross your path. Upon spawning the Rings from the spawn book, five rings will extend up both of your arms, granting you incredible abilities. You can use the Rings as melee weapons, fire them as deadly projectiles, harness elemental magic, grab enemies by their limbs, and perform ridiculous super jumps.
The mod is still in the early stage of development, so a few hiccups are to be expected. For instance, the Rings—once equipped—cannot be removed, though the developer promises that it shouldn’t interfere with existing weapons, items, and abilities.
The Ten Rings mod is available now for download via Discord. Blade & Sorcery is available for $19.99 on Oculus Rift and SteamVR headsets.
