Get your hands dirty in this adorable-looking game coming soon to VR headsets.
Anyone familiar with life in the city can tell you just how stressful urban living can be. From the busy traffic to the crowded public spaces, the chaos of downtown can grow tiresome quickly. Thankfully, we have VR technology to help us escape the city to experience a different kind of living.
Across the Valley is an upcoming VR game in which you take on the role of a skilled (or not-so-skilled) farmhand and manage an idyllic plot of land. Brought to us by developer FusionPlay (Konrad’s Kittens), this light-hearted farming simulator promises an immersive countryside experience that’s as adorable as it is entertaining.
In order for your farm to thrive you’ll need to complete a variety of unique mini-games scattered throughout the picturesque environment. You’ll grow crops by sowing and watering the field, milk cows, shear sheep, and embark on truffle hunts with your pigs. According to the team, you can even pet your animals to show them some love, earning you a more bountiful harvest in the process.
“Until now, you’ve only played farm simulators — but now you can move into your own virtual farm,” said the developer in an official release. “Instead of clicking around in menus, you care for the animals and plants with your own hands. Instead of looking at your farm from up above, you’re right in the middle of it. Why just watch an avatar pet your animals when you can pet them yourself?”
Across the Valley will be available on April 6th, 2023 for $19.99 on PlayStation VR2 and PC VR headsets. For more information on the game visit fusion-play.com/acrossthevalley.
