Among Us VR Readies For Pico & PSVR 2 Launch With Cross-Play

Among Us VR reaches new platforms with a Pico port on December 5, with Schell Games teasing that it will “plead the 5th” on the release date for PSVR 2.

Released last November, Among Us VR is now bringing the social deduction game to Pico. “We’re incredibly excited to bring all of the deception, betrayal, and social deduction of Among Us VR to a brand new set of players around the world,” states Schell. Cross-platform multiplayer with Quest and PC VR is also confirmed.

While there’s no direct confirmation about the PSVR 2 version’s release date, the studio offers a tease in the blog. “Before you ask — because we know you will — we haven’t forgotten our PlayStation VR2 beans. SOON, my friends. We’ll have news to share soon… and we think you’ll be excited. But for now… we plead the 5th.” That suggests plans for a simultaneous launch.

Among Us VR arrives on December 5 on Pico. Elsewhere, it’s available now on the Meta Quest platform and SteamVR for $9.99.
