Unlock access to two popular VR games every month.
Earlier this morning, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced Meta Quest+, a new VR subscription service for Meta Quest 2, Quest Pro, and the upcoming Quest 3. Available today, Meta Quest+ offers subscribers access to two popular VR titles hand-picked by Meta every month.
The company is beginning with Cloudhead Games’ rhythm-based shooter Pistolwhip and ARVORE’s old-school-inspired adventure game Pixel Ripped 1995 followed by Mighty Coconut’s expertly-crafted miniature golf simulator Walkabout Mini Golf and Terrible Posture Games’ futuristic first-person shooter MOTHERGUNSHIP: FORGE this coming August.
“Subscription services have been a great way to get more bang for your buck as far back as the Blockbuster days,” said the company via its official blog. “And at a monthly value of up to $60 USD, Meta Quest+ combines affordability with the convenience of a curated experience. We’re excited to give gamers on Meta Quest a new way to explore all their headsets have to offer.”
Meta Quest+ is available for $7.99 per month or $59.99 annually (37% in savings). Those who subscribe anytime between now and July 31st will get their first month for just $1. According to Meta, you can cancel your subscription whenever you’d like and regain access to each title downloaded during your original subscription period at any point.
