Kinetic Games confirms Phasmophobia is leaving PC VR exclusivity, arriving this August on PSVR 2.
A psychological horror game with four player online co-op, Phasmophobia tasks you and a team of paranormal investigators to explore haunted locations and gather evidence. Appearing in the Extended Xbox Games Showcase, Kinetic Games revealed plans for a console release on Xbox Series X|S, alongside PS5 with PSVR 2 support. Featuring optional cross-platform multiplayer support, you can watch the announcement trailer below.
Released on PC nearly three years ago, Phasmophobia arrived with optional SteamVR support and we previously called it one of the best VR horror games available. Despite remaining in early access, Kinetic Games continues adding new features, such as last year’s VR rework. Alongside seated play support and a left-handed mode, that update improved hand modeling, item placements, the user inteface and more.
Phasmophobia is available now for PC VR in Steam Early Access, while the PSVR 2 version arrives in August 2023.
