ForeVR Pool is available now on Steam, with Bowl to follow later this month.
Best known for its family-friendly sports games, ForeVR Games is bringing this series to Steam, starting on Monday with ForeVR Pool. Released on Quest 2 and Quest Pro last November, Pool includes 8-Ball, 9-Ball, and practice game modes. This comes with 50 different cues, four different halls, public and private multiplayer, solo AI matches, a jukebox that pulls songs from YouTube, and more.
Here’s a full description, courtesy of Steam.
ForeVR Pool brings the coolest pool halls from around the globe straight to your living room! Challenge friends, family, and in-game pros to a game of 8-ball and 9-ball pool – no table required. Battle 12 bots to level up and take on Legendary challengers. Join a Quick Match or jump into a private multiplayer party! Friend in town? Share your headset with Pass & Play. Up the ante and stake in-game coins in matches against other players.
The publisher said in a press release that Bowl will follow on PC VR later this month, while it “expects to bring its other games, like ForeVR Cornhole and ForeVR Darts to Steam” later this year. Regarding headset support, ForeVR states Pool supports Valve Index, HTC Vive, Vive Pro, Vive Pro 2, Rift and Rift S, alongside the Meta Quest family via Link Mode.
ForeVR Pool is available now on SteamVR, offering a 50% launch week discount until May 22.
