Immersive technology lights up the lanes at Stars and Strikes.
We’ve seen our fair of high-tech bowling experiences over the past couple of years, but nothing quite like SPARK Augmented Reality Bowling. Available now at select Stars and Strikes venues, this one-of-a-kind immersive sports experience features AR-enhanced bowling lanes that react in real-time to your bowling.
Each of these next-gen bowling lanes features an interactive display that projects a variety of engaging visuals as you bowl. Similar to how you can choose the theme on your bowling screen at conventional alleys, SPARK Augmented Reality lanes come with six unique game options, some of which are based on popular existing IPs:
- Angry Birds
- Boom Bots
- Creature Feature
- Pinpix
- Rival Rumble
- Spark Experience
At the moment, SPARK Augmented Reality is available exclusively at Stars and Strikes in Concord, North Carolina and Irma, South Carolina with plans to open the 16th location in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
In addition to SPARK Augmented Reality, the new 52,500 square foot location will feature a 10,000 sq. foot arcade complete with VR games, a multi-story laser tag arena, ax-throwing, and a full-service bar. All 24 lanes will feature support for SPARK Augmented Reality.
“We are aware of the demand for our unique brand of entertainment from both the residents and tourists in Myrtle Beach,” said Chris Albano, managing partner and co-founder of Stars and Strikes in an official release. “With these families in mind, we are excited to bring a quality brand of family-focused entertainment to the Myrtle Beach area that guests of any age can enjoy.”
