Imagine a world…
XR Producer Fun Train (Tarzan VR, The Exorcist: Legion VR) today announced The Twilight Zone VR, an upcoming VR game for Oculus Quest and PlayStation VR based on the iconic 1959 television series of the same name. According to Fun Train, the game will be composed of three standalone episodes that hit a variety of genres made famous by the show, from psychological horror to science fiction.
Fun Train has released several images of the game, teasing a variety of out-of-this-world experiences. This includes everything from an enormous eyeball surrounded by alien spaceships to an abandoned amusement park inhabited by some sort of desert-dwelling monster.
“The team of creatives and developers we’ve assembled are true visionaries who have a deep reverence
for The Twilight Zone franchise,” said Douglas Nabors, Fun Train CEO, in an official release. “Nobody has made an anthology like this before that encompasses so many divergent experiences – all in the same game.”
The Twilight Zone VR will be available on Oculus Quest, Oculus Quest 2, and PlayStation VR headsets early next year. Still no word yet on an official price tag.
That said, you can sign up for the closed beta via the game’s official Discord. For more information visit here.
