The subscription-based immersive fitness platform expands its offerings with new full-body cardio workouts.

Immersive fitness and wellness platform Supernatural today announced the launch of Supernatural Boxing, a new selection of full-body cardio workouts designed to work the core while improving your reflexes. Unlike standard Supernatural workouts in which players slash targets using a pair of bats, Supernatural Boxing has you punching, blocking, and dodging targets to the beat of a thumping soundtrack.

Available now on Oculus Quest and Oculus Quest 2 headsets, Supernatural Boxing introduces eight additional workouts at launch, with three new classes arriving on a weekly basis. You can choose from three levels of intensity—Low, Medium, and High—depending on your skill level. “Dedicated Training” and “Boxing Basics” guide you through the fundamentals of boxing, including how to jab, cross, hook, uppercut, and block. As you train, you’ll receive assistance from a variety of professional fitness coaches, all of whom lead by Head of Fitness and Muay Thai athlete, Coach Leanne Pedante.

“Practicing boxing and kickboxing for the past decade has changed my life, filling me with a confidence and strength I never had before,” said Pedante in an official release. “Now, Supernatural Boxing is offering that in an unbeatable VR format, eliminating the intimidation factor of attending a class or striking out at the gym, and instead empowering athletes in yet another modality.”

Supernatural Boxing is an incredible workout that recruits new muscle groups and focuses the mind,” added co-founder and CEO Chris Milk. “It continues our quest at Supernatural to find new ways to reimagine exercise as something to look forward to, and change as many lives as possible in the process.”

One of the biggest pros of Supernatural is its detailed metric tracking; this same technology applies to Supernatural Boxing workouts, allowing you to track your progress and compare your stats with friends and strangers. You can even customize details such as your arm span length and preferred squat depth to achieve hyper-accurate readings based on your personal range of motion. Similar to standard Supernatural workouts, you have the ability to pair select fitness-tracking devices for more detailed metrics. This includes the Apple Watch Series 5, Wahoo HR Monitor Armband, and Polar HR Monitor Chest Strap.

The Supernatural VR app is available free (subscription required) on Oculus Quest and Oculus Quest 2 headsets. Subscriptions are available beginning at $18.99/month or $179.99/year. First-time users can try the app for free for a limited time. The Supernatural mobile companion app is available for download on iOS and Android devices.
