Played With Fire’s fantastical VR adventure, Stargaze, is coming to Oculus Quest later this year, but first it’s stopping by Rift.
The title lands on the official Oculus Rift store on March 3rd and will follow on Quest later in 2021. Of course, it’s already available on SteamVR and Viveport with native Rift support there as well as Vive and Index, so PC VR owners can pick it up now. There’s even a free demo too if you want to check it out before making any purchasing decisions. Check out the trailer below.
Inspired by Little Prince, Stargaze is a puzzle title that sees players observe planets through a telescope. Across seven levels you’ll be able to influence events and record what’s happening. The trailer shows some pretty lovely VR visuals as well as intriguing interactions as you document your finding in a book. The game has a handful of mostly-positive reviews on Steam, where players seem to love the visuals and different gameplay mechanics though, perhaps predictably, also say the game is on the short side.
There’s no specific date for the Quest release and the studio hasn’t confirmed if this’ll be an official store release or available on App Lab/SideQuest. Quest doesn’t have a ton of puzzle games, though, so this could make an interesting addition to the library no matter where it lands. No word yet on a possible PSVR release, either.
