The Boxing Day’ update adds a new endless level, scoring system, and holiday soundtrack.

The SUPERHOT Team today launched a surprise update for SUPERHOT VR on SteamVR and Oculus headsets, offering players a brand new holiday-themed game mode complete with a brand new endless level, scoring system, and Christmas-inspired soundtrack perfect for this oh-so-festive time of year.

Available free to all existing owners, SUPERHOT VR’s Boxing Day update lets you duke it out with red fractal foes throughout a festive shopping mall dressed head-to-toe with Christmas trees, gifts, and other holiday decorations. Alongside this new endless level comes a new scoring system and soundtrack, as well as an independent leaderboard.

Player’s who’ve completed SUPERHOT VR’s main campaign can access the new holiday update by loading the Endless floppy disk into the in-game PC and selecting the Christmas tree image.

Today’s update also comes with several quality-of-live updates across SteamVR and PSVR headsets. Still no word on when or if SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE will ever make its way to VR headsets. For more information on todays update visit here.

SUPERHOT VR is available now for $24.99 on SteamVR, Oculus Rift/Rift S, and Oculus Quest/Quest 2.
